Jade McDonald's Mission

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!!   bro Christmas miracles are real. First let me give you guys a little update on the last few weeks. I've been training for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. My baby is from South Carolina. Ill send some pics obvio. But its literally been so much fun. Also gift of tongues is real. We've had some good lessons. Even though it's still hard to find people right now because there are a ton of people from here at the beach for the holidays.    Just gonna skip ahead to Christmas Eve. In the morning we did service all the way up until lunch. And we ate lunch with the same family we did service for. We share a ward with elders so we always eat lunches together with members. The members we did service for said we could just help them all morning and then we'll have lunch. So we did. We were helping them move and clean a bit in their new place.  Jade has had a fun week with her new companion Hernmana Varnon. She is from South Carolina and they look like they are having lots of fun together.  They had a lesson this week that was a experience she won't forget.  She said the lady was asking so many questions that she was trying to remember the words in Spanish to teach her, and when they came out of the lesson she could not even remember the words in English.  I told her that was a good lesson then.  Their one friend was supposed to be baptized but decided to wait until she gets back from her vacation in feb.  So we will see. She said they were walking across the street and jade was waving at the car to say thank you for stopping and when she looked back her comp was face down on the pavement.  She had tripped and fell.  Poor kid.  They had a fun weekend of a ward and stake Christmas party.  She said during the ward party they were acting out the nativity and all of a sudden she l...

 Jade had a good week. They had their Christmas mission party on Tuesday and they had a talent show, which jade said was good and so funny. One elder was doing quite the dance moves and her mission pres was showing off his soccer skills with a ball until it hit one of the flowers and broke the pot then everyone cheered.  They then had outside games and Jade was in a tug a war and won.  They also played the game inside where you switch chairs if your fruit was called.  She said she kicked a elder by accident and stole a chair from a sister.  It got really good.  She had a fun time seeing all of her friends. Her mom and other comps.  She had transfers on Monday.  She is staying in her area and is now going to be training a new sister right from the MTC.  She is sad to leave Hermana Rivera but excited  and nervous she gets to train and is happy she is staying in her area.  She went to the mission home on Monday and her pkg came.
