Week 18 transfers and now a MOM! Training

 Jade had a good week. They had their Christmas mission party on Tuesday and they had a talent show, which jade said was good and so funny. One elder was doing quite the dance moves and her mission pres was showing off his soccer skills with a ball until it hit one of the flowers and broke the pot then everyone cheered.  They then had outside games and Jade was in a tug a war and won.  They also played the game inside where you switch chairs if your fruit was called.  She said she kicked a elder by accident and stole a chair from a sister.  It got really good.  She had a fun time seeing all of her friends. Her mom and other comps.  She had transfers on Monday.  She is staying in her area and is now going to be training a new sister right from the MTC.  She is sad to leave Hermana Rivera but excited  and nervous she gets to train and is happy she is staying in her area.  She went to the mission home on Monday and her pkg came. YAY!  She also saw Hermana Earl again and she was so happy. Hermana Earl said she is coming to Canada when Jade gets home.  I told her we would love to have her come.  I am glad Jade is meeting new friends and having such a good time.  She said that the Elders keep telling her she has a canadian accent even when speaking spanish. One time when she was praying at a members house they started to laugh in the prayer and she was like what the heck. They said you just have a accent.  She still gets told she needs sunscreen all of the time and she is so hot.  I don't think she likes it when we show her the snow at home.  She said she wants a ski vacation when she gets home.  I can't believe it will be 6 months done here in the end of dec, and only one year left.  So crazy.  Someone from their ward gave them a Christmas tree for free.  They had fun visiting this lady at her home and asked if they could take a pic of her. She went and got ready and sat on the bed and said ok I am ready, they laughed and then asked if they could take the pic with her.  She was confused as to how that was going to happen. She also meet a elder from Lethbridge that knew her friend Jackie Douglas and she took a pic with the mission office elder and also one of the elders looked exactly like a friend of hers from work at sports check.  She took a pic with a group and two of them looked like her friends from home Morgan and blake.  And they were even companions.  She sure had fun at the party.

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
