Week 20 CHRISTMAS!!!

FELIZ NAVIDAD!!!! ☃️🌲❤️πŸ’šπŸŽ…πŸ’« bro Christmas miracles are real.
First let me give you guys a little update on the last few weeks. I've been training for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. My baby is from South Carolina. Ill send some pics obvio. But its literally been so much fun. Also gift of tongues is real. We've had some good lessons. Even though it's still hard to find people right now because there are a ton of people from here at the beach for the holidays.
Just gonna skip ahead to Christmas Eve. In the morning we did service all the way up until lunch. And we ate lunch with the same family we did service for. We share a ward with elders so we always eat lunches together with members. The members we did service for said we could just help them all morning and then we'll have lunch. So we did. We were helping them move and clean a bit in their new place. We had little Cesar's pizza for lunch hahaha. We had dinner with our wards golden family(and our lunch elders). They are so freaking fun. We ate Venezuelan food(because they are from Venezuela) and it was so good. We played some weird Christmas games y listened to some Christmas music, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, maroon 5 y a country song that my comp likes. Good Christmas present. We got home at 11(president said we could stay out to 11. How lucky are we haha). We waited till 12 and sat around our little Christmas tree that our recent convert gave us. We stayed up with the sisters we share a house with and listened to Christmas music that president put in a drive for us(not the best but whatevs).

Christmas day. Everyone said that Christmas in the mission is so good. And I didn't really belive them because it still didn't really feel like Christmas. No snow(really hot actually but there was wind so we were greatful). But then, we had miracles happen. First we went to church, then to lunch, then it was time to knock doors. We were scared no one was gonna let us in because it was Christmas day. But we asked some members if there was anyone who didn't have anyone to share Christmas with that we could go visit. A member gave us an inactive member couple to go visit. We went to their house and they let us in! And we shared a video of Jesus christ(it's called : nombre) and then had a really good conversation about acting like Jesus Christ. We all felt the spirit of Christ. And they also gave us icecream so that was a bonus. Then we went to the church to go send a video of us saying "feliz navidad". We sent it to a few friends and to a bunch of sisters in the soc soc chat(members). Anyway, here comes another miracle. We had our friend, who we've been trying to get baptized because she is so ready, message us and say she wants to meet with us tomorrow because she wants to see us. Then she messaged and said "tomΓ© la decisiΓ³n para bautizarme" which is "I've made the decision to get baptized ".......WHAAATTT!!!! BRO! Literally there's a huge long story with her and she's had so many miracles happen in her life. Literally the day we knocked her door(didn't even know who lived there) she said a photo of missionaries and a temple randomly appeared on her phone because her phone was glitching. The SAME DAY we came. this was a while ago tho. And she used to meet with the missionaries. There is so much to the story but wow that was a literal Christmas miracle! And then we came home y we got to call our families y that was tons of fun. Felt alot more like Christmas when I got to talk to them.
I'm so greatful to be here. Even though it's hard to be away from home and family for Christmas, we really did get to see the miracles Christ has in store for us y for the people her in Chile πŸ‡¨πŸ‡±. I'm so greatful to serve the Lord and share my testimony with others. I'm so greatful for all of the members for helping us feel the light of Christ during our Christmas away from home. I'm also so greatful for all of our friends and their help. (Also for our recent convert who bought us Christmas chocolate hehe). I know that Christ lives and that he was born to be an example for us. To show us how we need to be living. To bring light unto others.

Merry ChristmasπŸ’š❤️

They are out of order so I'll just say what the photos are.
1. Christmas day when we were making our Feliz Navidad video
2. Christmas jamies from family
3.The day my baby came(#trainer #mom). I might send another email of photos from last week. Maybe not.
4.Empenadas from Gustitos(absolutely heavenly)
5. Christmas jamies again hehe
6. GUAVA JUICE!!!! Found that stuff Christmas eve (also a Christmas miracle)
This is the golden family Jade was talking about.  They are so fun and so good to the missionaries!

Jade told us that they celebrate Christmas eve the most.  So they wait until 12 Christmas eve and open up their presents then.  They were at this families house for christmas eve night.  The other family they went to in the morning had messaged me to send them a video saying a merry christmas to Jade so we all took a turn sending a video to say merry christmas.  She had a wonderful Christmas time and I know felt the true meaning of Christmas!
