Jade McDonald's Mission

 We got to talk to jade on Monday.  She was at the beach again playing soccer and having a bbq. They were roasting sausages and a huge roast that probably would not cook all the way through I told her not to eat it.  She said she wouldn't and then we talked so much she missed out on all the food. I felt bad but she did not seem concerned.  While the elder was cooking on the BBQ he had started his hair on fire, I said tell him to run and put his head in the ocean it won't kill him to do that. She just laughed at him. Crazy kids. She said that she had a interesting week.  They taught a man English and her comp did most of the talking and when she spoke he said do you want me to teach you Spanish.  I know she is so flustered with the language and her comp does not really do language study with her so that's flustering but steel gave her lots of good advice on Monday. Hola! Didn't send an email last week my bad haha. Anyway it's so cute here. I'll send some photos. I've has some crazy things happen. Like a oldish guy on the bus took off his shirt to show us his tattoo that says like "Jesus loves my mom" in Spanish. My companion and I went sure what to do...anyway and then we also chased an old man up a hill and he asked if we were Christian and then said "OK come to my house" so that we could teach him. We sat on his porch and he showed us a bunch of old family photos. He also didn't have teeth the first time we met him jaja but when we went over the next time he did and then the time after we accidentally woke him up cause he was sleeping on his couch outside and we definitely scared the crap out of him. We didn't know he was there tho so it kind of scared us too. Busses are crazy here sometimes. Like one time I was so squished that I was squished between a person and their seat and I was standing. Jade FT on Aug 15th we were in Portland.  She told us she lives close to the ocean in a cute little cottage house, she went to the largest swimming pool in the world it was as long as the titanic.  They then went to the ocean and it was high tide and was coming in fast and took some of the elders and sisters stuff there was 12 of them total their stuff in the water.  They played soccer on the beach and it was so fun. She was struggling with her comp but knows it will get better.  She just did not let her get some food at the store for their weekly food and she does not always listen.  Her name is Hermana Earl and she is from Idaho.  She does love the 2 other girls that live in the house with her so that is good.  She is exhausted physically and mentally for language learning and going out and about all day.  She had a fun Sunday at church and this cute little old lady she meet there.  She was teaching a new friend, she had rode on a bus that ...

 Jade was able to go to the temple again this week and had such a wonderful time. She was so lucky to go 2x.  She told us that the elders kept asking her Canada questions so she told them that all the men in Canada shave their armpit hair.  That made them quiet.  She said she was excited to go to Chile but nervous at the same time.  She loved the juice and the fruit at the MTC. She even took a pic of the place it was made and her holding the box of juice. She said she is going to miss her comp and loved being with her.  She was flying with her and only one more set of elders from her district were going to her mission.  WE are excited to hear all about her experience's in Chile.  She sent us picts and video of the birds there and said it was so beautiful in Mexico she will miss it there as well.
