Week 1 at Chile
Jade FT on Aug 15th we were in Portland. She told us she lives close to the ocean in a cute little cottage house, she went to the largest swimming pool in the world it was as long as the titanic. They then went to the ocean and it was high tide and was coming in fast and took some of the elders and sisters stuff there was 12 of them total their stuff in the water. They played soccer on the beach and it was so fun. She was struggling with her comp but knows it will get better. She just did not let her get some food at the store for their weekly food and she does not always listen. Her name is Hermana Earl and she is from Idaho. She does love the 2 other girls that live in the house with her so that is good. She is exhausted physically and mentally for language learning and going out and about all day. She had a fun Sunday at church and this cute little old lady she meet there. She was teaching a new friend, she had rode on a bus that was packed with people and 3 grandmas came on so the man had to hold them all in. Her comp got sick right before they had to leave mexico to Chile and she was throwing up and jade did not want to leave her in mexico but they told her she needed to get going. Then when she was on the plane she saw her comp come on the plane. They did not get to sit together but she was so happy she made it to Chile with her. She misses Sis Jenkins a lot she loved her for a comp and is hoping they will be able to serve together again sometime. She saw a cute dog in a fence. She heard a sound and turned around and there was this cute puppy with his head through a hole. She eats at members houses for lunch that is their big meal when they get feed. She loves the members there. She struggles a bit with the language still but she will get it. She was happy overall and seemed to be having fun.
