Week 2 at the beach

Hola! Didn't send an email last week my bad haha. Anyway it's so cute here. I'll send some photos. I've has some crazy things happen. Like a oldish guy on the bus took off his shirt to show us his tattoo that says like "Jesus loves my mom" in Spanish. My companion and I went sure what to do...anyway and then we also chased an old man up a hill and he asked if we were Christian and then said "OK come to my house" so that we could teach him. We sat on his porch and he showed us a bunch of old family photos. He also didn't have teeth the first time we met him jaja but when we went over the next time he did and then the time after we accidentally woke him up cause he was sleeping on his couch outside and we definitely scared the crap out of him. We didn't know he was there tho so it kind of scared us too. Busses are crazy here sometimes. Like one time I was so squished that I was squished between a person and their seat and I was standing. Like the bus was loaded. And when I thought no one else could get on, a few grandma's squished on. The guy who was helping direct the bus was literally hanging out of the bus, holding the grandma's in. Last p-day was tons of fun. We went and saw the biggest swimming pool in the world and it was right next to the beach so we just played some games there for a bit. We were with our district. We went, got some sushi and then went to a different beach. Anyway I'll send some pics. Gotta go!!! Miss you all! Love you!

Jade was doing so well when we talked to her.  She is getting along better with her comp.  She said they don't really do language study which she wishes they would but the more she hears it the better.  She said she was kissed on the cheek by the old man with no teeth. That creeped her out. Then she said they went and had a specialty hot dog for lunch and were at the beach with her district again playing soccer volleyball.  But you don't use any hands.

Sep 11th Knows why she is there

 We had a good chat with jade she told us that she knows why she was sent to that area. She had a good chat with one of her comps and stayed up late at night. She had told her how her last comp was so mean to her. Only speaking english with others when she only knew spanish and not doing work with her. Jade was crying when she told me. She is so passionate about her mission. She has changed so much. She has so much love for the Savior and for this gospel.  She works hard and gives it all for Him.  I am sure this assignment of traveling missionary will not be easy but she knows she can bless others lives in a different way.  She is such a example to all of us and what we need to be doing in our lives to share the gospel and to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Week 67 Nov 27th Last transfer

 Jade had a good week.  She is still going to be a traveling missionary, she is with Hermana Brazil, they were so excited when they found out.  She said it is hard work but she is happy to do it. She is hoping to be able to go and visit most of her areas before she leaves so that she can see everyone.  So crazy this is last transfer.  The little girl has all of their name tags on. The white building is a govenrnment building.  They had lunch on a roof top. They had yummy ice cream and got samples of all the rest.  A member owns the shop so they get lots of ice cream from him.  The pic of the lady who just got baptized and a random guy who was holding the book of Mormon just wanted a pic with them.  They had district council all together and yummy doughnuts. She is in a suburb area again and is excited to be there and to find more to teach. She is doing awesome and we are so proud of her. She already has a amazing tan line on her feet!

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...
