Jade was all smiles today.  She is having so much fun at the MTC.  She is loving buying guava juice at the store there.  She said she got a little sick and had to go see the DR there but said she is feeling much better.  Some stomach pain.  She is very busy with all of her classes. She said her day is like this, wakes up, eats breakfast, class, lunch, gym time, class, supper, class, bed.  They are very busy.  They were getting new Hermana's in today and would be teaching them since her and her companion are training leaders.  She said at gym time this week they were allowed to play bump with the elders and she taught her comp how to shoot a free throw.  They played frisbee golf and spike ball as well.  July 20th 2022  We heard from Jade for the first time today.  We were able to FT her!! She told us she had a good flight and when she got to Texas, she ran into other Elders.  She told them she was from Canada and Elder Fergeson said to her, "Do you know of this little town called Magrath?" She just laughed.  He is a good friend of Chayse Harris our cousin.  Such a small world.  Then she looked at her ticket and it said 1A.  She was like I think they got this wrong.  She then asked and she got to fly from Texas to Mexico first class.  She was the only Hermana on the flight and all the Elders were so jelous.  She said she is loving the MTC. That they are district leaders her and her comp and have lots of meetings to go to and they are very very busy but its good.  She loves her comp and she reminds her of so many good people in her life.  She said she gets fresh papya every day and she loves it.  Her comp not so much ...

Jade's Farwell

Jade was called to the Santiago West Chilie mission.  She was very excited to be able to speak Spanish and also be able to go on a adventure at the same time.  Jade had her farwell on June 26th. She did such a good job on her talk and had lots of family and friends here to support her. Jade started home MTC June 27th.  She was very busy with on line zoom classes and picked up the language very quickly.  I thought that home MTC was a wonderful idea, get the kids use to MTC life while living at home and meeting people on line first.  It was a great experience.  She then got all of her bags packed and flew out to the Mexico MTC on July 12th.  Our whole family was there to say good bye to her even though we had to be there at 3 in the middle of the night.  It was so hard to say good bye but we know this is where she is supposed to be right now.  She was not able to call us when she got to the MTC her flight was delyed in texas so I am assum...
