Week 2 at Mexico MTC

 Jade was all smiles today.  She is having so much fun at the MTC.  She is loving buying guava juice at the store there.  She said she got a little sick and had to go see the DR there but said she is feeling much better.  Some stomach pain.  She is very busy with all of her classes. She said her day is like this, wakes up, eats breakfast, class, lunch, gym time, class, supper, class, bed.  They are very busy.  They were getting new Hermana's in today and would be teaching them since her and her companion are training leaders.  She said at gym time this week they were allowed to play bump with the elders and she taught her comp how to shoot a free throw.  They played frisbee golf and spike ball as well. They get to have gym time every day.  They share a bathroom with 2 other sisters so she was happy about that. Others have 6 to a bathroom.  So crazy.  She said it is so hot some days but other days are good.  They sometimes get to go outside for their classes which is good.  Her comp is 5'3 so she has to squat down to do videos with her. She likes her district, they sometimes ask her funny Canada questions like do you have grass there.  They are just silly boys.  She is having so much fun.  We are so happy and so proud of her. She also told us she will be flying out Aug 8th and it is a direct flight and it will take 8H so lucky to be direct.

Sep 11th Knows why she is there

 We had a good chat with jade she told us that she knows why she was sent to that area. She had a good chat with one of her comps and stayed up late at night. She had told her how her last comp was so mean to her. Only speaking english with others when she only knew spanish and not doing work with her. Jade was crying when she told me. She is so passionate about her mission. She has changed so much. She has so much love for the Savior and for this gospel.  She works hard and gives it all for Him.  I am sure this assignment of traveling missionary will not be easy but she knows she can bless others lives in a different way.  She is such a example to all of us and what we need to be doing in our lives to share the gospel and to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Week 67 Nov 27th Last transfer

 Jade had a good week.  She is still going to be a traveling missionary, she is with Hermana Brazil, they were so excited when they found out.  She said it is hard work but she is happy to do it. She is hoping to be able to go and visit most of her areas before she leaves so that she can see everyone.  So crazy this is last transfer.  The little girl has all of their name tags on. The white building is a govenrnment building.  They had lunch on a roof top. They had yummy ice cream and got samples of all the rest.  A member owns the shop so they get lots of ice cream from him.  The pic of the lady who just got baptized and a random guy who was holding the book of Mormon just wanted a pic with them.  They had district council all together and yummy doughnuts. She is in a suburb area again and is excited to be there and to find more to teach. She is doing awesome and we are so proud of her. She already has a amazing tan line on her feet!

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...
