Week 43 bird poop in the hair

 Jade had a good week.  They have been teaching lots of lessons and brian has been coming with them to lots of the lessons.  Ruby hopes to get baptized next week as well as the little boy he was gone this week so hopefully next but the parents did sign so he could get baptized.  YAY!  Jade saw snow on top of the mountian and the sky's were beautiful this week as well. They had a zone confrence with Elder christensen and he told jade about going with pres monson to dedicate the calgary temple.  Lots of the pics are from last week when they went to the museum.  She went to the church this last p  day to play cards and hung out with her district.  They also went food shopping and did laundry. Now that it is winter the clothes take longer to dry not as hot to dry them.  She is still loving it and having a good time.  She got pooped on by a bird in her hair. She has her special drink every week and asks now for extra wheat on the bottom.  She said it is so so good.  Glad she is having so much fun. The guy in the blue coat had to stand on two steps to be taller than her.  The lady in the pink dress they found on the street and she was a member who had just moved to the area and was recently baptized and did not know where to go for church.  Glad they found her.  It was brian's birthday and he had never had a cake so they tried to make one and it did not work. Luckly a family in the ward threw him a suprise b day party.  So Jade took a pic of her glasses and sent them to him.  So fun!

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
