Week 36 Happy Easter

 Jade did not start the week off well. Her and her comp got very sick. Monday when we were talking with her, they had gone downstairs to get water and felt like passing out so they just came back up and went right to bed. They had no food but rice in their house so I told them to call the Elders to bring them food or their mission mom. I guess they got sick enough they called their mission mom to go get them some food and the office elders brought it to them. She brought them meat, tomatoes, pumpkin.  They made all that and added some spices and rice and called themselves chefs.  Glad they are learning to cook. They got some fruit in a cup from some members that was so good. The man in the pic is Johnny who is getting baptized next weekend. The pic of the lady is a member who is very cool. The park they are beside jade calls the big slab of cement the frying pan. Probably because it gets so hot there.  The drink in her hand is from peru and it tastes like bubble gum and they got subway. The cotton candy they bought from a man on the street and they said it tasted weird and not so good a 5/10 but ate it because they spent money on it. She went on splits with Sister graves and a random lady gave them candy and they said it tasted so good.  I guess she never learned don't take candy from strangers. HAHA. The cute easter bunnies someone from their ward made them for them so cute.

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
