Week 38 amazing family with cute little girls

Image
Jade had a  good week. She was in a trio for a few days until their comp got her baby. She was training a new sister.  They had fun with their zone playing basketball, soccer, and volleyball on p day.  She was upset with the Elders not sharing or passing as much but they did ask her if she played soccer in high school because she was so good.  She just had to laugh.  She head butted the ball a few times so they thought she was good.  They had fun at their friends house and it was the one little boys birthday and they did not have candles for the cake so they used spaggattie noodles as candles and made them sing in english all by themselves to the boy.  They are teaching this really cute family and their daughter Ruby is loving being taught. They came to church and Jade asked ruby how she liked it.  She grabbed her hands and shook them up and down and said I loved it!  The little girl in the peach skirt was not part of their family she j...

Week 37 Baptism and meeting baby Luke Mitchel McDonald

Jade had a good week.  They had a baptism on Saturday and everything went so smooth. They found the cutest family to teach and they hope they can continue to teach them.  They went to the mission office today because it was transfer day and lots were leaving, they were sad to see some of their friends go home.  There were a lot of new ones coming in.  Her baby was training so she became a grandma in the mission this week. I told her that was cool we became grandma's in the same week. HAha They are still continuing to teach lots and have a lot of fun.  I think she is addicted to the drink, she loves.  She went on splits 2x this week and had fun.  She is continuing to stay busy.  She said that she has a appointment for rosiola but I am sure it's just her sunburnt face.  She said it's easier just to say she has it sometimes. I told her I hope she is getting her throat looked at as well. She was the first one to meet baby Luke over FT....

Week 36 Happy Easter

Jade did not start the week off well. Her and her comp got very sick. Monday when we were talking with her, they had gone downstairs to get water and felt like passing out so they just came back up and went right to bed. They had no food but rice in their house so I told them to call the Elders to bring them food or their mission mom. I guess they got sick enough they called their mission mom to go get them some food and the office elders brought it to them. She brought them meat, tomatoes, pumpkin.  They made all that and added some spices and rice and called themselves chefs.  Glad they are learning to cook. They got some fruit in a cup from some members that was so good. The man in the pic is Johnny who is getting baptized next weekend. The pic of the lady is a member who is very cool. The park they are beside jade calls the big slab of cement the frying pan. Probably because it gets so hot there.  The drink in her hand is from peru and it tastes like bubble gum ...

Week 35 exchange sis holland

Image
We got to talk to Jade lots this week which was nice.  Today she told us that she got to go on exchanges with Sis holland. When they were in a lesson and she asked sister holland to ask the lady if she wanted to be baptized.  This is a struggle for sis Holland.  So Jade ended up asking.  Jade said if we don't ask early on in the visit then they don't come to church with a purpose and we know if we need to start teaching them again.  They had fun being together again.  We talked a bit with jade she is very sick today, Both her and her comp have a stomach flu.  I feel so helpless being away from her.  I hope they can find someone to bring them food and drinks.  They don't want to bother anyone but they need food. Jade said their lessons are going very well and they are having a lot of fun still. They had a zone meeting with all the girls and they have a zone confrence tomorrow. Hopefully they will feel better to go to that tomorrow becaus...
