Week 23 New Friends

 Jade told us today that they had a good week meeting new friends.  One family they meet a elder in their mission had told them his uncle lives in their area if they could go teach him. So they went to their house and taught them then asked if they could pray, after they asked if they could pray their way next but doing the cross symbol and holding hands as they prayed. They had visited 2x and Jade said they are so strong in their faith I don't know if it will work.  They also had good lessons with their friends who will be baptized on Feb 4th.  They had a good zone confrence and had a good week with some good meals.  They find out transfers next sunday and are hoping that they get to stay together for one more transfer.  They did not have splits and so they were happy about that. They ended up not going to the families house for dinner they wanted but hopefully this week they will.  They played soccer last week with their zone and had fun.  They have been seeing lots of cats around and some beautiful senery.  She seemed to be in good spirits. She went shopping this p day and actually bought some clothes.  Maybe it was because she was so mad at the zone leaders for not telling them earlier about playing soccer again it made her shop.  Glad she got some clothes.  Not ones she was wanting but got a dress and 2 sweaters.  She said all of her clothes are black and blue so needed color to her wardrobe. Her tan line on her feet are crazy.

Week 67 Nov 27th Last transfer

 Jade had a good week.  She is still going to be a traveling missionary, she is with Hermana Brazil, they were so excited when they found out.  She said it is hard work but she is happy to do it. She is hoping to be able to go and visit most of her areas before she leaves so that she can see everyone.  So crazy this is last transfer.  The little girl has all of their name tags on. The white building is a govenrnment building.  They had lunch on a roof top. They had yummy ice cream and got samples of all the rest.  A member owns the shop so they get lots of ice cream from him.  The pic of the lady who just got baptized and a random guy who was holding the book of Mormon just wanted a pic with them.  They had district council all together and yummy doughnuts. She is in a suburb area again and is excited to be there and to find more to teach. She is doing awesome and we are so proud of her. She already has a amazing tan line on her feet!

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 38 amazing family with cute little girls

 Jade had a  good week. She was in a trio for a few days until their comp got her baby. She was training a new sister.  They had fun with their zone playing basketball, soccer, and volleyball on p day.  She was upset with the Elders not sharing or passing as much but they did ask her if she played soccer in high school because she was so good.  She just had to laugh.  She head butted the ball a few times so they thought she was good.  They had fun at their friends house and it was the one little boys birthday and they did not have candles for the cake so they used spaggattie noodles as candles and made them sing in english all by themselves to the boy.  They are teaching this really cute family and their daughter Ruby is loving being taught.
