Week 17 Baptism story

 Jade and her comp had a baptism on Saturday.  The man who was baptized had told them that he only had 3 names. After everything was done and they were cleaning up someone in the ward said he has 4 names and that he needs to be re baptized.  So Sunday morning they got up very early and went back to the church and filled the font and he got baptized again and then confirmed.  Jade said it was very flustering but was glad it was done properly.  She said they were excited for their missionary  Christmas party with all the missionaries in the whole mission.  They were doing a talent show and her comp was playing the piano.  They have been teaching some people and one lady had a lot of signs that she should come to church like  a pic of the temple pop up on her phone, them coming to visit her. She said I just don't know and Jade had told her that is a lot of signs to come to church. She said it is so very hot and only getting hotter.  The kids there are in their summer break so the mall that they go to every p day was busy not bad but getting busy.  She loves her cherro frosty from wendy's. She is hoping that her and her comp get to stay together through Christmas time but we will find that out next week. They also got these cute water bottles from a member.  Jade also found a seed in her apple already starting to grow so she planted the seed at the chruch.  We will see in 20 years if a apple tree grows there.

Week 67 Nov 27th Last transfer

 Jade had a good week.  She is still going to be a traveling missionary, she is with Hermana Brazil, they were so excited when they found out.  She said it is hard work but she is happy to do it. She is hoping to be able to go and visit most of her areas before she leaves so that she can see everyone.  So crazy this is last transfer.  The little girl has all of their name tags on. The white building is a govenrnment building.  They had lunch on a roof top. They had yummy ice cream and got samples of all the rest.  A member owns the shop so they get lots of ice cream from him.  The pic of the lady who just got baptized and a random guy who was holding the book of Mormon just wanted a pic with them.  They had district council all together and yummy doughnuts. She is in a suburb area again and is excited to be there and to find more to teach. She is doing awesome and we are so proud of her. She already has a amazing tan line on her feet!

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 38 amazing family with cute little girls

 Jade had a  good week. She was in a trio for a few days until their comp got her baby. She was training a new sister.  They had fun with their zone playing basketball, soccer, and volleyball on p day.  She was upset with the Elders not sharing or passing as much but they did ask her if she played soccer in high school because she was so good.  She just had to laugh.  She head butted the ball a few times so they thought she was good.  They had fun at their friends house and it was the one little boys birthday and they did not have candles for the cake so they used spaggattie noodles as candles and made them sing in english all by themselves to the boy.  They are teaching this really cute family and their daughter Ruby is loving being taught.
