Week 16 A letter

Hola! I have some time this week so I guess I'll write an email. 

Earlier this week we went to the mission office for our interviews with president. I don't remember too much from the interview. Just that I told him how exited I am to be an aunt. I told him that last time too but whatevs. Saw some old people from my zone there too. 
One day we ate soooo much food and I almost died. Also we eat with elders everyday too because we share a ward and bro the one elder eats so much and so fast. Like we won't even be half done and he's just sitting there with an empty plate. 
Anyway, also it is very very hot. We were trying to make it to this chicken place called dinki pollos that sells icecream before it closed because we were dying of heat.  It takes like 9 min to get there and we had 12 min left before it closed. Hermana Rivera made a joke and said "when you see the missionaries when they are late to a lesson *walking*.......when you see the missionaries trying to make it to dinki pollos for an icecream before it closes *dead sprinting*" we died laughing as we ran to dinki pollos. We had a really good lesson with one of our friends on date. He said he had been searching for the true church for so long and he finally found this one and knows it is true. 
The primary had their primary presentation also had their presentation on Sunday. Some of them said things that I know was exactly what our friends needed to hear. One of our other friends said "I felt the spirit just like you guys said I would"(#inspanish). Also some members brought a friend and we went to visit her after church too and I made her cry when I shared my testimony about the Book of mormon and how it can change her life for the better just like it changed mine. She told me that my experience was beautiful and continued crying and said she hope it will. I know the gospel will help her so much with everything. I've already seen it change people's lives drastically. They literally seem so much happier. 

Anyway this will probably be the most I ever write so don't expect too much😂

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
