Week 14 Chile government building

Hola! We had a good week. Definitely had a lot of fun but also it was really hard to talk to people on the street. Our friend who is getting baptized this Saturday bought a suit for his baptism! Hes so exited!!!! And so are we obviously! We had a guy give us a whole loaf of bread haha. We asked him how his week was, and kept walking while he was telling us how his day was. Realized we needed to talk to him. Stoped at the end of a street and knocked the same door for like 5 min waiting for him to come to us because he was knocking doors too. He was like "No-one home?" Haha. Anyway so we shared a scripture with him, he gave us a whole free loaf of homemade bread. Also he's from Venezuela. Anyway so ya that's just one little story that was funny from this week. He was so confused why we were at the same door for so long. Also we were dying laughing when he approached us cause we realized how dumb we looked standing at the same door for 5 min waiting for him to get to us. 



Today we are in the city for pday and it's pretty cool. We went to the la moneda which is like the whitehouse here. Some parts look like parts of the pink panther movie haha. I'll send some pics haha. We went to a catholic church and it was huge. 

Sorry if that didnt make any sense i had to write really fast and i gotta goooo! Also im so exited for this week because we have zone conference and a baptism!!!!! Hope you all have a good week! Que tenga un lindo día!

Jade also cut her hair today and said how beautiful everything is there.  They are having fun street contacting she just wishes people would not lie to her when she says do you want to hear a scripture.  Just say no don't make a excuse. She is having fun at lunch appointments with the Elders and said they are finally starting to talk to the members. She told us there are a lot of young married couples in their ward and they have lots of member lessons which is great. She is enjoying it still and having a fun time.

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
