Week 13 new assignment

Hola! Last Sunday hermana bunker left😭 to go home and we got the email that I was getting transferred. 

 So I got transfered last week to Maipú which is a but more in the city. And it is soooo hot. I definitely miss the beach because it was also alot cooler but the area here is good too. Just hot. The members here are super good. Alot of younger families too. I also have a "special assignment" where I send referrals to other people in the mission. It's not bad cause we get to go into the church to do them so it's cooler. It's actually not bad tho. The first day we sent some some people from my old zone sent an audio back saying "HERMANA MCDONALD.....". Haha that part was fun. But ya I don't like computers so luckily referrals aren't hard. Our friends are also really good. And the area is so much smaller! Like we can walk literally everywhere. Here's a few pics.

Week 36 Happy Easter

 Jade did not start the week off well. Her and her comp got very sick. Monday when we were talking with her, they had gone downstairs to get water and felt like passing out so they just came back up and went right to bed. They had no food but rice in their house so I told them to call the Elders to bring them food or their mission mom. I guess they got sick enough they called their mission mom to go get them some food and the office elders brought it to them. She brought them meat, tomatoes, pumpkin.  They made all that and added some spices and rice and called themselves chefs.  Glad they are learning to cook. They got some fruit in a cup from some members that was so good. The man in the pic is Johnny who is getting baptized next weekend. The pic of the lady is a member who is very cool. The park they are beside jade calls the big slab of cement the frying pan. Probably because it gets so hot there.  The drink in her hand is from peru and it tastes like bubble gum ...

Sep 11th Knows why she is there

 We had a good chat with jade she told us that she knows why she was sent to that area. She had a good chat with one of her comps and stayed up late at night. She had told her how her last comp was so mean to her. Only speaking english with others when she only knew spanish and not doing work with her. Jade was crying when she told me. She is so passionate about her mission. She has changed so much. She has so much love for the Savior and for this gospel.  She works hard and gives it all for Him.  I am sure this assignment of traveling missionary will not be easy but she knows she can bless others lives in a different way.  She is such a example to all of us and what we need to be doing in our lives to share the gospel and to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Week 71 back to the beach for the finish

 Jade was transfered back to the beach to finish off her mission.  She is having lots of fun and glad it is not so hot. She had her last zone confrence so she had lots of pic taken with all of her companions and Elders. Her comp dropped all the cookies on the floor. Her 18 months was on the 18th of Dec so she made them all a treat. She had a wonderful Christmas and had a fun new years with her favorite family in el kisko. A tradition they have is you light a match and tell all of your wishes for the year before the match goes out.  Lots of fun.
