Week 8 Friend progress

 Jade had a wonderful week.  She had a zone conference and also had a good week with her friends.  She said Daniel is progressing and he came to watch conference with them and enjoyed that.  She was at the church for her p day because it was raining so they could not go to the beach today.  I think this is the first p day they have not gone to the beach.  She said they were playing ping pong and the elders went and bought her a hot dog with tomatoes and guac on it.  She said it was so good.  She said they were not super busy this week but had good lessons.  They did a service project with the elders pulling weeds and cleaning up someones yard.  Maggie got to speak with Daniel for a bit to try out her Spanish. Jade said hers is coming along better so that is good.  She said that they mostly have elderly in their ward not much YSA or youth, maybe 5 youth she said.  She loves all the dogs around and I just pray she does not get flee's.  She is still loving her mission and having success so that is awesome.

Week 57 Sep 18 New experience.

 Jade has moved to a new area again with her traveling comp calling.  When she got there the sisters were not doing a lot of work.  They were having lessons with members but did not have very many friends to teach.  Jade was feeling very down and actually did not feel the spirit for a few days.  This is the first time this has happened on her mission and she did not like the feeling at all.  On sunday they had gone to a park to see if they could find some people after church.  They were sitting on a bench and the one sister asked her what was wrong. She had told her how she had not felt the spirit since she had got there on Thursday and it was really bothering her.  They talked it out and now Jade has helped the sisters to make a daily schedule and to go out and find those to teach.  She said she was feeling much better today but still is hard.  I knew this would be a hard assignment for Jade to do.  But I also know that she can do ...

Week 32 Birthday Week

 We were spoiled and got to talk to Jade 2x this week. Once on Friday and then again on Monday. It was her b day on Friday.  She had lots of fun. She got ice cream and her favorite drink 2x that day.  She had a good weekend with a baptism of a little 9 year old.  She is teaching lots still and is loving being busy. She said her comp had a bird poop on her while they were out. She sent a video. It went on her glasses luckily.  They are having a lot of fun while working hard.  She said one guy asked for her instagram and she told him I can't do that but I do have a book of mormon for you.  He was not too impressed. She is loving going to the members homes for lunch time and said they get feed every day or at least money given to them to go buy lunch.  She took some pics of some cool buildings.

Week 70 Dec 18 At the beach

 Jade had a good week. She was able to go back to her first area and go see Daniel.  She had fun showing her comps the beach and had a good time. She forgot how much she loved it there.  She is having fun in her new area and loves the comps she is with.  She will be transfered just before christmas so hoping she knows the area and has good last comps. She is contining to work hard and have fun.
