Week 6 Chile national holiday
Holaaaa!!! These last few weeks have been so fun!!! We went to the temple on Pday!!! And then after we went to this massive mall that had like 6 floors. We had a meeting with the primary president of the church and the relief society president of the chuelrch. Super cool. And we have some super nice friends!! Gloria is getting ready to be baptized and she has do much love for the gospel. We literally got to her house and she already had her scriptures out. Also we taught this one friend on the rain I'll send a picture. But he's awesome and lovesssss church. My companion gave a talk on Sunday so I was just sitting with my friends and he was just nodding his head and agreeing. He was also like "chutaaaah" which means like danggg kinda and sounds like shoootaah haha in case you wanna use that hehe. Also yesterday was Sept 18 which is Chile's national holiday! We went to a memebers house for dinner and we learnt the cueca(chiles national dance) and ate sopaipillas which is kinda like a beavertail but a little different but it's so good. I ate mine with manjar(kinda like carmel) but ya super yumyyyy. Anywaysss super fun weeks.
Jade was also sad to see her one roommate leave to a different area. She said that she had a great week and it was nice to get her email this week. On p day they were actually able to hang out with the elders even though it was just the 4 of them. They just had to be outside so they played volleyball and basketball at the church. She also said they had no money again but bought a ice cream bar and Cheetoes that were raspberry flavored. Very healthy. Hey she is having fun. She said the elders had brought her Empanatia's and they were so yummy! She is having so much fun and is so happy and doing so well. So glad she is out serving!
